Microcurrent FAQ'S

What does it feel like? Does it hurt?

A slight tingle- it's a completely safe and painless treatment which can be wonderfully relaxing! Some people experience the illusion of flashing lights during the treatment. This is because microcurrent stimulates the optic nerve. This is completely normal.
Do I need multiple treatments?

You will notice an immediate lift. The full expression of the treatment is more visible the next day because microcurrent stays working in the muscle for 24 hours.
Can I receive this treatment if I get injectables?

Yes! We ask that you wait 14 days after receiving Botox and 60 days after receiving Filler or Kybella for a microcurrent treatment.
Who should not receive this treatment?

Microcurrent cannot be performed on those who are pregnant, have pacemakers, epilepsy and/or metal plates in the area be treated. If you have Diabetes, Cancer, or have had recent surgery please discuss with your doctor before receiving treatments. This is a preventative as well as a corrective treatment and is suitable for anyone over the age of 18.
Is there any prep or aftercare?

Hydration is vital to an effective treatment. We ask that you drink 2 glasses of water prior to your treatment, and 2-4 glasses following your treatment.
